Sometimes I feel so much like Beckett in this scene—not the specifics, but the not knowing who you are part—and seeing how beautifully Castle loves her just sets my heart aflame. He loves her both when she’s kicking ass without any questions and when she tilts her head down because she feels like she’s lost herself and she’s questioning everything. He’s her rock, the solid weight keeping her tethered and whole because, no matter what happens, no matter where she goes or what she does, he knows her. He knows who she is, with or without answers.
