What if that last line of ‘And into the woods we go’ is also referring to the rest of the season? Like the writers are saying, ‘okay fandom, hold hands, because this is it, we’re heading into the woods and it’s gonna get dark and confusing and there will be big bad wolfs and secrets and we won’t emerge until season 5.’

thank you. i said the same thing. i agree completely. but the symbolism is on our side… he says we’re going into the woods, but she grabs his hand. they are going in together, and lets pray they come out the same way. <3
