also. if you’re a REALLY GOOD kisser (and your parter is as well), you don’t have to hold your breath at all. you take turns, sort of. whenever i read a kiss in a story that’s like ‘when the need for oxygen became too great’… i go wtf. i’ve never had to do that. haha
