You know, I feel by the end of the episode, Castle is going to realize that Beckett is the best detective in the city and Beckett is going to realize that she knows exactly what it's like to be too close to a case but still have a need to solve it. It could open the doors for a great closing scene...and I'm thinking we'll get that.

y’know, i was trying to figure out a way for them to both be right… but i think there just can’t be… but your explaination is the next best thing. i feel like it is kate’s turn to win one… but at the same time, i can’t see them condemning a close friend of castle’s. but you never know. if they deem he did it but it was somehow an ‘accident’, i will scream. because that is a cop out. (no pun intended)
