Detective Kate Beckett- A strong female role model who does her job superbly in a man’s world, and refuses to take any crap from anyone for maintaining her femininity. She’s not perfect: a little cracked and broken around the edges, but strong when it matters most. Her character is human and genuine. She is what today is all about. No matter what you go through, where you come from and where you’ve been, you can do anything you put your mind to: you can be extraordinary.
